2-Off-Hours: A $5.00 surcharge applies for pickups before 6:00 AM or after 5:00 PM.
3-Holidays: A seasonal fee of $10.00 – $15.00 applies during Public Holidays and peak travel dates.

Siem Reap’s history is inextricably linked with the rise and fall of the Khmer Empire. Established in 802 AD, the empire saw the construction of Angkor Wat and hundreds of other temples over the next several centuries. The name “Siem Reap” literally translates to “Siam Defeated,” commemorating a historic military victory over neighboring Thai kingdoms. - By Air: Most international travelers arrive via the Siem Reap–Angkor International Airport (SAI), located about 45 km east of the city. It connects the province to major Asian transit hubs.
- By Bus/Taxi: Overland travel from Phnom Penh or the Thai border (Poipet) takes roughly 5 to 6 hours via well-maintained national highways.
- By Boat: During the high-water season, scenic ferry rides operate between Phnom Penh or Battambang across the Tonle Sap Lake.
